Play Responsibly
Last updated: 1 May 2026
Boldridge Play is a free social casino. Nothing on this Service costs real money and nothing real is at stake. Even so, healthy play habits matter — for time, attention, and emotional balance.
What "responsible play" means here
Because no real money is involved, the risks of playing Boldridge Play differ from real-money gambling. The risks that do matter: spending more time playing than intended, using games to avoid difficult feelings, or feeling compelled to keep playing.
Healthy habits
- Set a time budget. Decide how long you'll play, then stop.
- Take breaks. Every 30 minutes is good.
- Don't chase. Trying to "win back" virtual chips is a losing pattern even with virtual currency.
- Keep play in proportion. Game time should not interfere with sleep, work, or relationships.
- Be honest with yourself. If play stops being fun, pause.
Warning signs
- Playing for longer than planned, often.
- Feeling restless when you can't play.
- Hiding the amount of time you spend on the Service.
- Using the Service to escape problems or low mood.
- Letting work, sleep, or relationships slip.
- Wanting to move from social-casino games to real-money gambling.
Tools we offer
- Session reminders at 30, 60, 90 minutes of continuous play.
- Self-exclusion: 7, 30, or 90 days, or permanent. Email contact@boldridge.org.
- Account deletion: any time.
